The Battery:

A German company called BMZ provides the lithium-ion battery for the E-Rider.
The battery is affixed and secured to the frame by a lock and can be charged while attached or separated.
Centerings on the bottom side ensure easy mounting and removal.
Caution: Do not mount or remove the battery during operational state.

The drive:

The core piece is a brushless motor delivering its 1100 watt output via 3 transmission ratios to the crank and ultimately via the derailleur gears.
By using a freewheel, the chain rings can revolve independently of the clutch. 2-by-9 derailleur gears are in use, as the 9-fold Chain ist wider and thus more
solid than the 10-fold chain.

The Display:

 1. Home-Screen:

On the left side you have the current motor output as well as the cadence shown as bars, with the resultant performance above, shown as numerical value.
The middle section tells the current time with the three performance levels (ECO, HIGH, EXTREME) to the right.
The screen's main section is occupied by the speed-display.


 2. Efficiency:

The upper left corner shows the accessed output in average.

Below you have the remaining range and time.



 3. Current Trip:

This section displays the clutch's current rpm, covered distance, average speed and driving-time.

This data can be reset with the remote at any given time.


 4. System Info:

The system display provides information about the motor- and battery temperature, remaining battery power and current battery voltage.


 5. Logfile:

total covered distance, topspeed, total driving-time, and number of battery charging cylces are shown in this last section.

Aside from the topspeed, this data cannot be reset.

The Remote:

Button 1: Switch driving mode upwards (ECO►HIGH►EXTREME)


Button 2: Browse menu sections (screens 1 through 5)


Button 3: Switch driving mode downwards (EXTREME►HIGH►ECO)



The throttle-handle:

Using the throttle-handle, motor support can be regulated steplessly as long as the driver is pedaling.
Response is very smooth and virtually without jolt.
Thus the maximum output available can be regulated in every driving mode.

The three driving modes:

speedlimit: 25 km/h none none
maximum output: ca. 250 W ca. 800 W 1100 W
